MATTHEW GAPPS

 Matt has over 26 years of experience working on complex public domain infrastructure and open space projects in a variety of sectors including local government, state government, civil contracting and consulting. 

Starting out as a cadet engineer, Matt has worked from the ground up and held a number of roles focusing on contract management and project delivery before his progression to Construction Manager, where he led up to 40 direct staff and many more indirectly across several delivery teams.

Matt has represented both the client and contractor in critical delivery functions and roles including:

• Consulting Engineers representative
• Superintendent
• Superintendent's Representative
• Principle's Representative
• Authorised Person
• Contractor's Representative

Matt has also been a Board member for a civil construction company, providing critical delivery, contract and technical guidance to drive the achievement of business goals.
